Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a class cost?

As low as $95 per person. *Minimum on-site fee applies.

How long are the classes?

In general, it's a 4-6 hour course.

Do I need to be 18 with a valid driver's license to participate in a class?

Yes, you must be 18 years or older and you must possess a valid Washington State I.D..

Do you allow sit-ins for the class?

No, we do not allow sit-ins. If you'd like to be a part of the class please register. You are not required to be a forklift operator.

Do you provide individual forklift certification?

While I can provide individual operator training, it is not necessarily convenient or cost effective. To train and certify anyone you must have the forklift the operator will be working on, a location to provide the training, and you must me the minimum fee. You must also understand that while you will have the training and certification, you will still need to be certified by a company to operate that forklift on their premises.

Can I get forklift certified online?

While an online class will cover much of the same information, it does not meet the federal regulations for forklift operator certification. OSHA mandates that the course include an operational skills test be done by a professional, someone who is experienced and qualified to do such an evaluation. In addition, a video class simply does not have the same impact or operator retention

Do you offer a "train the trainer" course?

No.
